You see, all of us probably know that the lapidary industry is a dirty messy hobby. And cleaning a saw is both a time-consuming and undesirable dirty task.
But then, what if I tell you that our very own Everclean can help you save both time and money. Would you believe me? Let me explain.
The EverClean Oil Cleaning System consists of a steel tank, a pump, and a centrifuge (the Everclean separator). As you cut hundreds or thousands of rough rocks, your saw and oil can’t help but gets mucky. With the cost of oil running $14-$25/gallon, it can be very costly to do an oil change on your saw every time it gets dirty not to mention a time-consuming undesirable cleanup.
Once your oil gets dirty you can dump it into the tank from a saw and then pump it up onto the Everclean while cutting. The centrifuge then separates dirt particles from the oil and the cleaned oil is then returned to the saw. Inside the unit, there is a removable canister, which collects and compacts the sludge. As a result, the oil can be used again and reduces the wear out on internal components, such as your blade stays sharper, the feed nut last longer and you don’t have as much failure on bearings.
So you save money by not buying more oil nor replacing internal components frequently. And you save time too because Everclean cleans the saw oil while you're cutting and running the machine. With an EverClean system, the saw can be kept clean easily, and gallons of mineral oil can be used for months, repeatedly.
Here at Highland Park Lapidary, we've got a Freestanding Everclean and just an Everclean. How do they differ anyway? Freestanding Everclean works with a tank, turbo pump, casters and associated hardware while the Everclean is mounted into the saw or the machine.
